TransAlta Utilities are replacing the existing transformers at the Brazeau plant, TransAlta's largest Hydro Plant. As the original construction of the plant was completed around 1965, it was decided that the current condition of the concrete deck slab and the supporting concrete structures together with the load capacity of the assembly, should reviewed and evaluated according to current applicable codes and standards.
